Charlisa Shelton
Charlisa Shelton is the CEO of Biz Assist LLC, where she leads business operations, human resources, public engagement, and market research, for small businesses, public agencies, and prime contractors. Her work is rooted in the belief that strong businesses are built through people, clear systems, measurable outcomes, and meaningful engagement.
Charlisa brings more than a decade of corporate experience with multibillion-dollar companies, including Wynn Las Vegas and 21st Century Fox. Her background includes human resources, project management, compliance, training, system implementation, and performance management. As a key member of the opening teams for two major hotel and casino operations, she helped support workforce initiatives that resulted in the hiring of more than 10,000 employees in less than six months.
Her ability to work under pressure, manage complex processes, support multiple departments, and align people strategies with business goals became the foundation for her leadership approach.
Charlisa has expanded her corporate expertise into small business development, subcontracting, and government project support. As a subcontractor, she has supported projects launched by META, CBRE, HNTB, MARTA, Rockdale County, City of Mableton, and LA Metro to name a few, providing services in public engagement, project coordination, stakeholder outreach, data and document management, compliance support, communications, reporting, and community-aligned implementation.
Charlisa is especially skilled at connecting corporate-level structure with real-world business and community needs. Whether supporting a transportation project, workforce initiative, small business growth plan, or public engagement campaign, Charlisa brings a practical, people-centered, and results-driven approach.
Charlisa holds a Business degree and is certified as a SHRM-SCP. She continues to help organizations strengthen systems, improve workforce performance, meet project goals, and deliver services with professionalism, accountability, and strategic impact.


Takesha Bartley
Takesha Bartley, SHRM-SCP, is a seasoned Human Resources executive with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations build high-performing teams, strengthen leadership, and create workplace strategies that drive business growth. She has led enterprise-wide initiatives in talent acquisition, organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development across various industries including engineering, financial services, and consulting.
Throughout her career, Takesha has partnered with executive leadership and Boards of Directors to solve complex business challenges through people-centered solutions. She has successfully led organizational restructures, workforce planning initiatives, succession planning programs, and leadership development strategies that improved retention, increased operational efficiency, and strengthened organizational performance.
Takesha holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management and Development from New York University, a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she graduated magna cum laude, and maintains a SHRM-SCP certification. She has also served in leadership roles in a Board capacity supporting organizations dedicated to promoting social justice.


Houston Harris
Houston Harris is a communications and public engagement professional dedicated to helping communities shape the future of the places they call home. She specializes in developing strategic engagement and communications initiatives that foster meaningful dialogue, build lasting relationships, and create consensus among diverse stakeholders. Throughout her career, she has partnered with residents, businesses, elected officials, community organizations, government agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams to navigate complex planning initiatives with transparency, collaboration, and trust.
Houston excels at translating technical planning concepts into accessible, engaging communications that empower communities to participate in decision-making. Through thoughtful relationship building, facilitation, and strategic outreach, she helps guide projects from vision to implementation while balancing environmental stewardship, economic vitality, and social equity. She is passionate about designing inclusive engagement processes that amplify community voices, strengthen partnerships, and ensure diverse perspectives are reflected in planning, policy, and design outcomes.
Houston holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Built Environments from the University of Arizona.
